a lot of people were asking the same questions repeatedly and i get curt and bitchy when i have to repeat myself 93940 times. so i am compiling an faq for y’all ^ㅠ^

• where do you watch (INSERT ANY KOREAN TV SHOW HERE)?

  i use bit torrent to download all my shows. you can find the most torrents most quickly at toshare but it requires registration. if that’s too much of a bother semi-fly also uploads dramas/variety shows/music shows. the files are named in korean but it’s not hard to figure out what’s what if you can google. if torrents are not your thing kpopella also provides megaupload links, but it’ll take at least a few hours to a day longer for them to upload everything.

• how do you make your gifs? can you recommend a tutorial?

  i have 2 methods:

  1. using gom player’s burst capture feature to make screencaps which i import into photoshop using the ‘load files into stack’ function and then create frames from layers. OR:
  2. using quicktime pro to slice the video into clips which i import into photoshop using ‘video frames to layers.’

  here’s a good tutorial for the second method, but don’t ask me for further help lol i suck at explaining things. (GOOGLE is your best friend, use it!)

• what nationality are you? where are you from?

  i’m korean-american, was born in seoul and moved to the states when i was 5 months old. i’ve lived mostly in new york, my current home.
