There was once a boy who had very bad dreams. Nightmares where he couldn’t eat his favorite steak, got chased by monsters that wanted to eat him, along with other horrors. So on Christmas Eve, this child said a prayer: Please let me not have anymore nightmares!Please let a dream-eating fairy appear to chase away my bad dreams! It was late nate Christmas Eve. He was asleep, and having nightmares, of course. But then all of a sudden there was a clanging noise! He slowly opened his eyes, to find a horned monster ready to eat him! “AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!” “Don’t be scared, child. I am.. I am… the chicken fairy!” What he thought were horns were actually bunny ears. The fairy smiled joyfully. However, the child was indifferent to the chicken fairy. You see, he was very different from the fairy he had wanted. “Why did a chicken fairy come? I need a fairy that can eat my nightmares away!” “Ah, don’t say that! D: I came down to the human world to grant you your wish!” However, the child said harshly, “Oh yeah? Then make some bbq bastard!” (t/n: some play on words and korean inside joke idgi) “Oh. my. god. How can you say that! Child, don’t you know that all chicken is made equal? All the chickens in this world are precious, each and every one!” “Whatever.” The child once again spoke to the chicken-loving fairy, “Mr. Chicken Fairy. Since you’re already here why don’t you fulfill my wish. Eat away every last of my nightmares like you eat chicken. I see ghosts every night so I can’t sleep. If you eat my nightmares I’ll give you chicken to eat for the rest of your life.” The chicken fairy beamed like he had gained the whole world. “I’ll eat all your bad dreams, and chicken too. I’ll always stay by your side as you sleep, as long as you give me chicken!” And after that, the fairy ate away every last of the child’s bad dreams. Every time he whined in his sleep, the fairy would pat the child back to quiet calm. And so the child was able to sleep deeply, with the chicken fairy by his side. fin.
